Determination of suitable distance between methane drainage stations in Tabas mechanized coal mine (Iran) based on theoretical calculations and field investigation

A large amount of gas is emitted during underground mining processes, so productivity decreases and safety risks increase. Efficient methane drainage from the coal seam surrounding rocks in mines not only improves but also leads to higher productivity. Methane must be performed when ventilation air cannot dilute emissions mine a level below allowed limits. The cross-measure borehole method one methods that involves drilling boreholes tailgate roadway an un-stressed zone roof or floor stratum mined seam. This main used Tabas N 1.
